Wanted: Woman At Large After Using Knife To Rob CT Stop & Shop

Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help identifying a woman who allegedly attempted to rob a Stop & Shop with a knife.

The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:15 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14 in Southbury at the store located at 100 Main St.

According to the Southbury Police, an investigation determined that the woman wearing a blue jacket and black pants, brandished a knife at store employees during a suspected shoplifting and robbery attempt.

The woman fled in a white Kia Forte prior to police arrival.
